How to Unlock and Reach the Trade Resort

The Loomian Legacy trade resort lets you exchange Loomians with other players to fill your Loomipedia, build a team, or find a particular collectible. Unlock trading by defeating the first Battle Theatre in Silvent City, where Battle Star Naya awards the Harmony Medal. Then open Navigate → Hubs → Trade Resort to travel to the trading hub.

Before requesting a trade, move your offers into Loomian Care. Loomians in your active party or on your bench cannot be traded directly. Use the resort’s storage kiosks to organize them before meeting another player.

How to Send and Complete a Trade

You can start a request by clicking another player’s avatar or selecting their name from the player list.

  1. Send a trade request. Select the player you want to trade with and send the invitation.
  2. Wait for them to accept. After acceptance, the sender receives another prompt to confirm they are ready to enter the trade.
  3. Choose your offers from Loomian Care. Each player can offer up to four Loomians in one transaction.
  4. Inspect the other player’s offer. Check the actual Loomians, their traits, and any held items.
  5. Click Ready. Both players must mark themselves ready before the Trade button appears.
  6. Review everything again, then click Trade. The exchange happens after both players confirm.

The trade window also includes ten display slots for showing Loomians. These are separate from the slots that determine what changes hands. A rare Loomian sitting in a display slot is not part of the deal.

For example, if someone displays a Gamma Gleaming but places an ordinary Loomian in their offer, you are receiving the ordinary one. Check the trading slots before confirming.

Prepare Your Storage and Check Trade Restrictions

Keep the Loomians you are offering together in Loomian Care so you can select them without searching through unrelated collectibles. Remove any Burst Crystals beforehand: attached Burst Crystals disappear when the Loomian is traded away.

Some Loomians cannot be traded:

  • Your original Beginner Loomian: the one you selected at the start of your journey.
  • The Rainbow Vari from Rainbow Rick’s 2022 quest.
  • Loomians received through redemption codes.
  • Novadeaus: separate it into Glacadia and Arceros if you want to trade those components.

Additional Beginner Loomians obtained through rallying can be traded. You can also purchase additional Beginners at the Loomian Lab in Mitis Town for 25 Robux each.

If storage management is becoming awkward, these upgrades affect how you access or organize Loomian Care:

UpgradePriceStorage features
LoomianCare+200 RobuxRemote Loomian Care access through the LoomiWatch, except during a Battle Theatre Challenge; custom Group Wallpapers
Loomian Care - 50 Group Expansion50 RobuxExpands storage from the default 10 groups to 50

The resort also has an NPC beyond the spawn lobby who displays your rallied Loomian count while you are rallying. This is a capacity check; you cannot access Rally Ranch through that NPC.

Check Abilities, Personalities, and Rare Traits

Two Loomians of the same species can have very different traits. Inspect the exact individual in the offer, especially when negotiating for a Secret Ability, a particular Personality, or specific moves.

Colored markers in the trading interface help identify special characteristics:

Marker colorMeaning
YellowEvent Loomian
BlueAlpha Gleaming
GreenGamma Gleaming
PurpleSecret Ability
OrangeVariant form
RedTrained, with maximum TPs, a player-selected Ability and Personality, and all its Rally Moves

For a Secret Ability trade, check the ability itself and the purple indicator. The summary screen also identifies Secret Abilities with a purple sigma symbol.

Recheck the offer after any changes. Someone can replace a Loomian with another of the same species, leaving you looking at a familiar appearance but different traits. Apply the same care to held items.

When asking in chat, name exactly what you need. “Looking for a Secret Ability Phancub” communicates more than “looking for something rare.” If you only need a species for mastery tasks, ask about a spare rather than negotiating for a special form you do not need.

Trade Evolutions and Required Pairings

Some Loomians evolve when another player receives them through trading. For Kabunga and Craytal, the trading partner’s offer can determine the evolution.

Check the form, counterpart, and required held item before selecting Ready. Swapping an ordinary Kabunga and Craytal produces Chartiki and Volkaloa, rather than their usual trade evolutions.

A trade that triggers evolution closes the trade window and opens the recipient’s evolution screen. Plan around the resulting evolution before completing the exchange.

Avoid Scams and Trades That Break the Rules

Keep the whole deal inside one transaction. With four offer slots per player, an arrangement involving five or more Loomians for one rare Loomian requires separate exchanges—and leaves part of the bargain dependent on a promise.

Follow these rules before committing:

  • Do not exchange Loomians for Robux or real money.
  • Do not cross-trade for items or collectibles in other games.
  • Do not use a middleman. Giving another person temporary possession adds a separate handoff outside your trade.
  • Do not hand over a Loomian for promised training or a guaranteed return.
  • Never share access to your account.
  • Capture screenshots or video of valuable exchanges so you have evidence if you need to report a scam.

Treat every confirmed exchange as a permanent transfer. A promise in chat does not put the promised Loomian into the offer slots.

If another player changes the deal, inspect it again. If they pressure you to confirm before checking an ability, item, or form, leave the trade.

What to Do If You See “Trade Banned”

A trading restriction replaces the Trade Request button with Trade Banned. Scamming, buying Loomians with real money, and cross-trading for Robux or other games’ collectibles can lead to an indefinite trading ban. A restricted player can still play the rest of the game.

There is also a server-specific visual glitch that can display this message incorrectly. Join a different server if it appears unexpectedly; returning to the same server can make the visual error reappear. Switching servers fixes that display issue, not an actual trading restriction.
