How to Catch Cosmiore
Loomian Legacy Cosmiore hunts depend on finding an active Meteor Shower during an event that features it. Its regular encounter rate is 1/128, so reaching the right location matters before you start hunting. Open your LoomiWatch’s weather forecast to find the shower’s location.
Cosmiore appears in its Encased Form through wild encounters in areas experiencing this event condition. Meteor Showers are seasonal, rather than part of the ordinary rotation of rain, wind, fog, heat, and thunderstorms.
Meteor Showers debuted on June 26, 2021, and that event ended on July 19, 2021. They returned on February 4, 2022, before being removed again on March 1, 2022. Those separate appearances explain why an old event date does not provide a recurring annual hunting schedule.
The hunting location has changed between events:
- Earlier Meteor Shower Events: Showers appeared on Routes 3, 4, or 6, temporarily turning the affected route to nighttime.
- 2024 and 2025 Loomunity Events: Meteor Showers took place exclusively in Loomunity Park.
- 2025 event ending: Meteor Showers were removed on July 7, 2025.
Follow the location shown for the active event instead of heading straight to an older hunting route.

Cosmiore Colors and Encounter Odds
For the eight standard colors, the Cosmiore you encounter matches the current Meteor Shower color. Choose your hunting window around that color if you want a particular version.
Image: Roblox / Llama Train Studio
| Version | Encounter rate during Meteor Showers | Color details |
|---|---|---|
| Standard-color Cosmiore | 1/128 (0.78%) | Matches the current shower |
| Black and White versions | 1/1250 (0.08%) | Introduced during the 2025 Loomunity Event |
The original 2021 event introduced red, blue, green, and purple. The 2022 event added pink, orange, brown, and teal, bringing the standard selection to eight colors. All eight returned in subsequent Meteor Shower events.
Black and White versions are rarer alternatives added in 2025. Keep those separate from the eight-color collection when planning your hunt.
Remember that encounter odds describe a chance on each encounter. A 1/128 rate does not guarantee that Cosmiore will appear within 128 encounters.
Use the Weather Forecast to Plan Your Hunt
You can find the forecast through LoomiWatch → Navigate → Weather. It displays weather up to four hours ahead, with times shown in your local time zone.

Use it to organize your session:
- Look for a Meteor Shower while its event is running.
- Note the affected location and scheduled time.
- Travel to that location for the shower.
- Hunt during the color window you want to collect.
Weather follows the same schedule across all servers, so switching servers does not give you a different forecast. Regular weather changes every real-world hour, making the forecast useful for planning ahead.
Meteor Showers can also occur alongside another weather condition in a different location. Rain elsewhere does not mean you should abandon a scheduled meteor hunt.
The forecast includes Meteor Showers even though they are an astronomical event. Ordinary adverse weather also changes an affected area’s music and adds environmental effects, including altered lighting. Indoor or sheltered locations such as Igneus Hollow, POLUT Campus, and Aranatta Trench normally stay outside the overworld weather system.
Collect Meteorites While You Hunt
Meteor Showers also drop collectible items into the overworld. Walk over fallen Meteorites to pick them up; their color follows the current shower.

In Loomunity Park, these items fall exclusively on the beach. A falling item has a 1/50 (2%) chance to be a Matterite or Antimatterite instead of a Meteorite.
Keep the two activities distinct: collect fallen items by walking over them, and look for Cosmiore through wild encounters. During an active shower, check the beach for drops between encounters to collect both event items and Loomians.
