Looking for the Loomian Legacy colosseum marketplace? Head to the Trade Resort for player trading; the Battle Colosseum is a separate destination. Choosing the right hub matters when you need a missing species for Mastery or a particular ability for your team.
Where to Go for Player Trading
The Trade Resort is the destination for exchanging Loomians with other players. The Battle Colosseum and Trade Resort appear as separate places within the same Roblox experience, so keep their names distinct when arranging a meetup.
For a missing Mastery species, ask politely whether anyone has a spare. Name the Loomian you need and explain your goal. For example:
“Does anyone have a spare Slugling? I’m working on its Mastery.”
Keep your request specific. If you need a particular ability, include that requirement instead of asking only for the species. Two Loomians of the same species can have different abilities, and that difference can affect how they function in battle.

Check Abilities Before Agreeing to a Trade
Abilities can affect both battles and overworld encounters. Most species have one or two Regular Abilities and a Secret Ability, although some species have no Secret Ability.

Secret Abilities have a purple symbol on the Loomian’s summary page and a purple marker in the trading interface. Look for those indicators when someone offers a Secret Ability Loomian.
Secret Abilities can come from wild encounters, rallying, and Petrolith revival. Their acquisition rates differ by method:
- Wild encounters: 1/512 normally, or 1/256 with the Ability Charm.
- Rallying: 1/256 normally, or 1/128 with the Ability Charm.
- Rallying with a Secret Ability Rally Leader: 1/64 normally, or 1/32 with the Ability Charm.
- Petrolith revival: 1/256 normally, or 1/64 with the Ability Charm.
These are acquisition chances, rather than battle bonuses. Read the ability itself to understand what the offered Loomian can do.
Read the ability’s effect alongside its name. For example:
- Awakening increases Attack Type Bonus from 25% to 50%.
- Handy raises the priority of Support moves by one.
- Hover provides immunity to Earth-type attacks and grounded entry hazards.
Match the effect to the role you want that Loomian to fill. Check the actual ability rather than choosing solely because an offer carries a Secret Ability marker.
For collection goals, Harmonize has an overworld effect: wild Loomians share the possessor’s personality when it occupies the first party slot. In battle, an opponent that inflicts a status ailment on the possessor receives that ailment too, unless immune. Include the ability name in your trade request if that personality-matching effect is what you need.
Carol helps with experience instead. When its possessor is alive and in the first party slot before battle, every Loomian in the party receives 10% more battle experience, including benched Loomians. Check that positioning before starting experience objectives with your newly acquired species.
Loomians are born with their abilities, which can change through evolution. Phancub’s Adorable, for example, becomes Terrifying when it evolves into Ursoul. If you plan to evolve a trade, check the resulting ability before committing.
Use Trades to Fill Mastery Gaps
Trading gives you another way to obtain a species you’re missing for Mastery. Check that species’ objectives before requesting one: different Loomians can require tasks such as rallying or earning experience.

Some rallying objectives require 10 Loomians, while others require 50. Event Loomians also count toward Mastery, so check their tasks alongside those of your other collection targets.
For experience objectives, place multiple members of the same species in your party to work toward their requirements together. While rallying for one objective, work on other Loomians’ tasks instead of waiting idle.
The October 30 Route 9 update also added new Loomians, Field Capture, and Expeditions. Explore the new map for collection targets before requesting trades, then bring a focused list of the species you still need to the Trade Resort.
