How Route 7 Shares Weather Encounters With Sepharite Junkyard

Weather can change what you're hunting on Loomian Legacy route 7. The route shares a loading zone with Sepharite Junkyard, so weather-exclusive encounters can appear across both areas. If the forecast puts Strong Gusts over the junkyard, you can also encounter Pipsee on the route.

That connection also applies to Loomians marked as acting strangely, provided the species normally appears in both locations. For example, when Chompactor is acting strangely on the route, that benefit also applies to Chompactor encountered in Sepharite Junkyard.

Check the forecast before settling into a hunting session:

1. Open Navigate on your LoomiWatch.
2. Select the Weather tab.
3. Look for weather affecting the route or Sepharite Junkyard.
4. Check which species is marked as acting strangely.

The forecast shows the next four hours in your local time zone. Weather changes every real-world hour, and every server follows the same schedule. Plan around the forecast instead of switching servers to chase different weather.

Weather-Exclusive Loomians to Hunt

Adverse weather adds specific Loomians to encounters in affected areas. Match your target to its required condition:

Cosmeleon can also appear during any adverse weather condition at 1/1024. These are encounter probabilities, so reaching that number of encounters does not guarantee a catch.

Each of the five weather-specific Loomians above also has a 10% chance to drop its matching Profile Background when captured or knocked out. Capture one if you still need the species; either outcome gives you a chance at the background.

Weather affects battles, too. Heavy Rainfall increases Water-type move damage by 30% and reduces Fire-type move damage by 30%. Smoldering Heat reverses those damage bonuses. Adjust your attacks when weakening a catch target so a weather boost doesn't turn a controlled hit into a knockout.

Strong Gusts increases Air-type Loomians' Speed by 25% and boosts Toxic-type attack damage by 25%. It also prevents trapping moves and Abilities from keeping Loomians in battle. During Dense Fog, all two-turn moves skip their charging turn. Spirit-type Loomians also ignore the Abilities of opposing non-Spirit-type Loomians when attacking or being attacked, except when those opponents are Light-type.

Severe Thunderstorm makes Electric-type moves deal 25% more damage while costing 25% less Energy. It grounds Air-type Loomians, allowing Earth-type attacks to hit them for neutral damage. Sleep cannot take hold during this weather, and sleeping Loomians wake immediately upon entering the field. Avoid relying on sleep to help with a catch during a thunderstorm.

Use a Strong Gusts hunting window to evolve Vari, too: leveling it up once in an area experiencing that weather turns it into Zepholen. Dandylil evolves into Whippledriff when leveled up at Lv. 37 or above under the same condition.

Target Strangely Acting Loomians for Better Stats

The acting-strangely designation makes an ordinary species worth another look. Encounters with that species during the listed weather condition have:

• At least three stats with maximum Unique Points, selected randomly.
• A pure positive Personality.
• A 1/128 Secret Ability chance without the Ability Charm.
• A 1/32 Secret Ability chance with the Ability Charm.

For comparison, regular wild encounters have a 1/512 Secret Ability chance, or 1/256 with the Ability Charm. Target the species named in the forecast when you're hunting for those improved odds.

Check a caught Loomian's summary for the purple sigma symbol to identify a Secret Ability. Most species have one, but some species and forms do not.

If you're building a collection around Chompactor, use the shared weather behavior to hunt on either the route or in Sepharite Junkyard while its acting-strangely designation is active. The bonus follows eligible encounters with that species across the shared area.
