Can You Obtain Propae Below Its Evolution Level?
Loomian Legacy Propae can be obtained below the level normally required to evolve its pre-evolution. That matters when you're comparing specimens for your collection or browsing trades. Check more than its level when evaluating a trade.
The distinction is between the level required to trigger an evolution and the level at which the evolved Loomian can be obtained. For Propae, those levels can differ.
Florant and Coonucopia share this unusual trait. Keep these names in mind when collecting low-level evolved Loomians, and inspect each specimen's summary before deciding whether it belongs in your collection.
Florant provides a concrete example of how evolution and obtaining an evolved Loomian are separate mechanics. Antsee evolves into Florant starting at Level 22, while Florant is also available through wild encounters on Route 8. Its evolution requirement applies to raising Antsee; obtaining Florant is not limited to that method.
Florant also has a separate battle transformation. While holding Floraburst, it can Soul Burst into Flychomp Florant. That transformation belongs to Florant, while the Level 22 requirement belongs to Antsee's evolution. Keep the species, evolution requirement, and battle form separate when comparing collection entries.

How to Check Your Propae's Ability
Open your Propae's summary and inspect its Ability. Abilities affect battles and sometimes the overworld, so this is another detail to examine alongside level.

Secret Abilities have a purple sigma symbol on the summary page. The trading interface also uses a purple marker to identify them. Look for that marker when comparing trade offers involving a Secret Ability.
Abilities are assigned when a Loomian is obtained; evolution is the mechanic that can change them. Check the Ability before committing to training.
If you're hunting for a Secret Ability, the Ability Charm changes the general wild-encounter odds:
- Price: 350 Robux.
- Wild Secret Ability chance: 1/512 without the charm, or 1/256 with it.
Use the summary symbol to identify what you've obtained. Improved encounter odds still leave each hunt dependent on chance.
The Ability Charm also changes Secret Ability rates for other obtaining methods. These are general mechanics across eligible Loomians, with different rates for each method:
- Rallying: 1/256 without the charm, or 1/128 with it.
- Rallying with a Secret Ability Rally Leader: 1/64 without the charm, or 1/32 with it.
- Reviving Petroliths: 1/256 without the charm, or 1/64 with it.
- Special Loomians encountered during weather: 1/128 without the charm, or 1/32 with it.
Keep the obtaining method attached to the number when comparing odds. The 1/32 rate applies to particular circumstances, including rallying with a Secret Ability Rally Leader while owning the charm. It is not the general wild-encounter rate.
An Ability's effect matters alongside its rarity. For example, Drainage increases the Health recovered through health-draining moves by 50%, while Bloodsucker increases the damage of health-draining moves by 25%. Those effects change different parts of the same kind of attack. Florant's Secret Ability is Drainage; neither example identifies Propae's Ability. Read the Ability name on your own specimen before choosing moves around its effect.
Keep Secret Abilities separate from Gleaming status, too. Gleaming Loomians are rare color variants, and their encounter odds use a different charm:
- Gleaming Charm price: 400 Robux.
- Base wild Gleaming chance: 1/4096.
- Wild Gleaming chance with the charm: 1/2048.
- Gleaming chance with the charm and an active Gleaming Loomiboost: 1/128.
Choose the charm that matches the trait you're hunting. The Ability Charm changes Secret Ability chances, while the Gleaming Charm changes Gleaming chances.
For training after checking your specimen, the Experience Boost game pass costs 50 Robux and can be toggled in the Items app as a Key Item. When enabled, it lets Loomians that did not participate in battle receive experience and increases the experience benched Loomians receive. Turn it on when you want those experience-sharing effects while raising your collection.
