How to Find Vari and Plan Its Evolution

Vari’s evolution requirements give you a reason to check the forecast and build a bond with another Loomian. If you’re hunting Loomian Legacy Vari, Route 9 offers wild encounters to look for while exploring. For Zepholen, you need a level-up during Strong Gusts; for Buzzolen, you need pollen from a Florant with a perfect bond.

These two evolution methods require different preparation:

Route 9’s October 30, 2026 update adds several features relevant to collecting:

• Enter Route 9 through the Cheshma Town train station.
• Use Field Capture to throw discs at Loomians while exploring.
• Take on Expeditions and multiplayer raids for prizes and Loomians.

Look for Vari as you move through the new map. Keep your evolution goal in mind before training it: Zepholen’s trigger depends on the weather where you level up, while Buzzolen’s depends on your Florant.

How to Evolve Vari Into Zepholen

Level up Vari once in an area experiencing Strong Gusts to evolve it into Zepholen. Plan around the overworld forecast so you arrive at the right location before earning that level.

Follow these steps:

1. Open your LoomiWatch.
2. Select the Navigate app, then the Weather tab.
3. Find a location experiencing Strong Gusts.
4. Travel there and level up Vari while that weather is active.

The forecast displays conditions up to four hours ahead, with times shown in your local time zone. Weather changes every hour of real time, so check the location and time together.

All servers share the same weather schedule. Stay focused on the forecast rather than switching servers to search for different conditions.

Timing Your Level-Up

Travel to the affected area before you finish training for the next level. If the weather window is nearly over, check the upcoming forecast and plan around the next Strong Gusts period.

Strong Gusts also has battle effects: Air-type Loomians receive a 25% Speed increase, and Toxic-type attacks deal 25% more damage. Account for those changes when choosing battles for Vari’s level-up.

During Strong Gusts, retreat-preventing moves and Abilities stop trapping Loomians. Pipsee can also appear in affected areas at a 1/64 (1.56%) encounter rate, and wild Pipsee have a 10% chance to drop the Cool Breeze Profile Background when captured or knocked out.

How to Evolve Vari Into Buzzolen

Buzzolen requires pollen from a Florant that has a perfect bond with its trainer. Checking that Florant can make it release pollen, which can evolve Vari when it sticks to it.

Start by obtaining Florant through either of these methods:

• Evolve Antsee starting at Level 22.
• Encounter Florant in the wild on Route 8.

Then prepare the interaction:

1. Build your Florant’s bond with you to perfect.
2. Have Vari ready for the pollen interaction.
3. Check Florant so it can release pollen.
4. Let the pollen stick to Vari to trigger its evolution into Buzzolen.

The perfect bond belongs to Florant. Focus your preparation on the Loomian releasing the pollen.

Florant’s flower color is cosmetic and does not affect its stats. Skip hunting for a particular flower color if your goal is simply to prepare a Florant for this evolution.

Can You Still Redeem the Snorkel Vari Code?

The Sw1mWithMe code has expired. It originally awarded Snorkel Vari and Vari Saddle S.

For future code rewards, open the Store app on your LoomiWatch and select the Codes tab. Codes are case-insensitive, and each can be redeemed only once.

Changing the capitalization of Sw1mWithMe will not bypass its expiration. Watch Llama Train Studio’s announcements for future rewards, and use wild encounters when you want to hunt Vari for an evolution project.
